Fairfield Hospital District approves management agreement to partner with Community Hospital Consulting

The Fairfield (Texas) Hospital District board approved a management agreement with Plano, Texas-based Community Hospital Consulting, the management and consulting arm of the Community Hospital Corporation, to manage the East Texas Medical Center Fairfield facility. The agreement will go into effect in 2017.

According to the agreement, the 37-bed hospital will be renamed FreestoneMedicalCenter. The facility provides healthcare services to residents of Fairfield and neighboring east Texas communities.

“We are excited to continue our collaboration with CHC Consulting to strengthen the services that we provide to our citizens in and around FreestoneCounty,” said George Robinson, Fairfield Hospital District board chair.
