TeamHealth acquires provider operations of EmMed, PC

Officials from Knoxville, Tenn.-based TeamHealth declared the company’s acquisition of the provider operations of Bay City, Mich.-based EmMed, PC.

EmMed, PC provides care to nearly 44,000 patients each year through the staffing and management of McLaren BayRegional Hospital, also in Bay City. TeamHealth offers outsourced emergency medicine, hospital medicine, critical care and a variety of other services to roughly 3,400 acute and post-acute facilities and physician groups nationwide.
