The 400-bed hospital began its partnership search last June. During the last seven months, hospital leaders formed a steering committee and sought out proposals from potential suitors, culling the pool of potential affiliates from 12 to five.

The five finalists are:

  • Cleveland Clinic
  • Baptist Health South Florida (Coral Gables)
  • Orlando (Fla. ) Health
  • Memorial Healthcare System (Hollywood, Fla.)
  • Novant Health (Winston-Salem, N.C.)

BRRH officials said they aim to finalize their partnership with one of the providers this summer.
