Chicago’s Delnor and Central DuPage Hospitals Talk Merger

Geneva, Ill.-based Central DuPage Hospital and Delnor Community Hospital, two large suburban entities, are discussing a merger that would be the largest hospital combination in three years and could prime the fragmented Chicago healthcare market for more deals, according to a Crain’s Chicago Business report.

An affiliation with Delnor and its $205 million in annual patient revenue could catapult Central DuPage to over $700 million and make it Chicago’s fifth-largest hospital system, according to the report.
