Accumen, a lab transformation company based in San Diego, has partnered with Detroit Medical Center in a three-year, multifacility engagement.

Here are three things to know.

1. DMC is the largest healthcare provider in southeast Michigan, according to a news release.

2. Accumen said the partnership with DMC aims to improve patient outcomes, enhance quality of care and optimize cost efficiency via comprehensive patient blood management.

3. As partners, Accumen and DMC will continue to “pursue the mission of enabling people to lead healthier and happier lives,” the release states.
