3 recent acquisitions from American Healthcare Systems

American Healthcare Systems, a Los Angeles-based healthcare operator, has made multiple moves to purchase hospitals in 2023. Here are three purchases the company has made since April:

  • June: American Healthcare Systems purchased Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center, a 214-bed hospital in Sherman, Texas.
  • May: The company intends to acquire the 75-bed ProMedica Coldwater (Mich.) Regional Hospital, pending regulatory approval.
  • April: Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health sold its Vista Medical Center East to American Healthcare Systems. The 228-bed hospital is based in Waukegan, Ill.
