2 Pennsylvania hospitals team up to meet rising demand for behavioral health services

Meadowbrook, Pa.-based Holy Redeemer Health System and the Philmont Guidance Center, with locations in Huntingdon Valley, Erdenheim and Doylestown — all in Pennsylvania — are partnering to expand residents’ access behavioral health services in the area, according to the Philly Voice.

The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

“We are excited about the opportunity to work closely with the physicians in the Holy Redeemer network to increase community access to behavioral health services,” said Daniel Hartman, MD, lead physician and owner of the Philmont Guidance Center. “I am personally excited to have the opportunity to create specialized programs to help meet the emotional health needs of patients with complicated medical issues such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and fibromyalgia.”
