Michigan's Battle Creek Health, Bronson Healthcare Partnership Official

The partnership between Battle Creek (Mich.) Health System and Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Bronson Healthcare is official, according to a joint news release.

Under the partnership, BCHS will become Bronson Battle Creek on July 1 and Bronson Healthcare, which will purchase 51 percent of BCHS, will become the new regional system's operating partner. The goals of the partnership are to provide the "right care in the right place at the right time" and maximize the clinical strengths of both organizations.

Denise Brooks-Williams, current president and CEO of BCHS, will serve as CEO of Bronson Battle Creek and report to Bronson Healthcare President and CEO Frank J. Sardone.
