“This initiative aligns with Presence Health’s goals for innovation and growth by focusing on quality patient outcomes and best practices,” Patrick Rush, regional communications director for Presence Health, told the local paper.
The employees that would have been affected by the move, of which there are more than 160, are all being offered positions with RehabCare. The majority of these employees have already expressed interest in staying with the hospitals under the reorganization, according to Mr. Rush.
The full services transition is slated for completion March 13.
