Here are three things to know about the partnership.
1. The partnership provides selected ProHEALTH offices with access to Health Monitor’s patient-education content. That includes its magazines, condition guides and print posters, as well as its online patient-education content library and the digital exam-room poster, which allows patients to communicate with healthcare professionals, according to a news release.
2. The partnership also provides patients with access to eHealth’s digital TV in physician waiting rooms.
3. In a prepared statement, Ken Freirich, president of Health Monitor, expressed excitement about the partnership. “Our partnership with ProHEALTH is the first of its kind to surround patients at each touch point —in office, on the go and at home — with both print and digital patient-education materials that empower them every step of the way,” he said. “Typically, this type of information is provided in a very fragmented way. By providing materials throughout the continuum of care, we have found that patients better adhere to their physicians’ treatment recommendations.”
