MountainView Hospital’s General Surgery Residency Program receives ACGME accreditation

Las Vegas-based MountainView Hospital’s General Surgery Residency Program has received accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

The program, which will have 28 positions for residents, will begin June 27. The residents will rotate between MountainView Hospital and Las Vegas-based Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.

The ACGME granted accreditation to MountainView’s Internal Medicine Residency Program last September.
