This time it bought Wunderlich MD, SC, a four-physician family and internal medicine group based in Joliet, Ill., further solidifying its Joliet presence after a February acquisition of Optima Medical Associates. Wunderlich’s four physicians starting taking DMG patients on April 1.

“We’re proud to welcome this collective expertise to our team, which fits perfectly into DMG’s strategy for growth throughout the Chicago area,” DMG’s COO Dennis Fine said in a statement. “Most importantly, we’ve added four excellent physicians to help us do an even better job of serving patients.”

DMG has grown to include more than 490 physicians who serve patients in more than 60 locations throughout the Chicago area.
