About $5 million will be devoted to the mobile simulation centers, which will help train rural healthcare professionals. The remaining $4 million will be dedicated to Billings (Mont.) Clinic’s Internal Medicine Residency Program, which lasts three years and trains 18 physicians in rural rotations. The program is expanding to train 25 physicians this summer, according to the report.
Additionally, the gifts will fund rotations at Sheridan (Wyo.) Memorial and Livingston (Mont.) HealthCare, according to the report.
