The award “recognizes a medical group practice executive, physician executive or administrator who has met the challenges of the new healthcare system head-on and developed innovative solutions that enhance the effectiveness of healthcare delivery in his or her practice and community,” according to MGMA.
Nominations will be open through Aug. 31.
The winner will receive an award; promotion through a press release; recognition in MGMA Connection and Executive View magazines; and complimentary registration, airfare and lodging at MGMA’s Annual Conference. The Harwin Innovation Award recipient will also be publicly recognized at the conference, which will take place in San Francisco on Oct. 30 through Nov. 2.
