PatientPoint CEO Mike Collette said the funding will help extend the company’s digital content to represent more than half of its products. The firm intends to double its digital presence by 2018 and triple it by 2019, with plans to expand into virtual medicine.
Investors in the latest funding round include New York City-based Searchlight Capital Partners and Greenwich, Conn.-based Silver Point Capital, the report states. L Catterton, which acquired PatientPoint in 2007, will continue as an investor.
