Today’s picket marks the second time in three months the registered nurses have picketed over management concerns that also include protection of their pension benefit and a provision to guarantee their union rights and union contract by the new owner of the hospital, which will be announced soon.
The nurses first picketed in late August after contract negotiations between the nurses and hospital management came to an impasse.
