Clinton will not be paid for Geisinger appearance

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will not be paid for her appearance at Geisinger’s invitation-only symposium, “From Crisis to Cure: Revitalizing America’s Health System,” in Danville, Pa., next month, according to The News-Item.

The symposium, which will be held Nov. 8-10, will feature speakers such as Epic CEO Judy Faulkner and ACA architect Ezekiel Emmanuel, MD, PhD, along with Ms. Clinton. None of the symposium’s speakers will be paid.

“All of the speakers recognize Geisinger’s national reputation for enabling change and have agreed to come on a volunteer basis,” said Geisinger spokesman Joseph Stender III, according to The News-Item.
