During a 10-year period, ProMedica will invest $50 million to address community needs by offering social and educational services to families and children in the Toledo area. Carolee Ebeid gifted more than half of the investment in honor of her late husband, Russell Ebeid. Since a large portion of the Ebeids’ gift will be funneled toward programs assisting children, ProMedica will rename the children’s hospital after Mr. Ebeid.
ProMedica is in the process of raising the remaining $21.5 million through community fundraising and investments.
