Ms. McKeever, director of Farmingdale, N.Y.-based Good Shepherd Hospice, joined Good Shepherd in 2012. Since then, she has instituted many programs, including Gabriel’s Courage, which connects social workers, nurses and bereavement specialists to families who received life-limiting diagnoses for their newborns during pregnancy.
