Greene Memorial Cancer Center Will Stay Open Despite Physicians' Group Departure

Xenia, Ohio-based Greene Memorial Hospital has announced that its Ruth McMillan Cancer Center will remain open, despite the recent unplanned departure of a physicians' group that practiced at the center, according to a report from the Xenia Daily Gazette.

The center has hired two new oncologists to work alongside the remaining staff. They will start full-time in August.

The center has also begun a $250,000 makeover for furnishing and equipment. Funding came in part from a Green Medical Foundation Grant.
