UT Southwestern, Moncrief Cancer Foundation Partner for New Cancer Center

University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Moncrief Cancer Foundation, both in Fort Worth, have entered a joint venture to create new a comprehensive cancer center, according to a report from the Fort Worth Business Press.

Each institution pledged $5 million for the new center, which will be built in Fort Worth and completed in Spring 2015.

The center is expected to house chemotherapy, new cancer therapies and National Cancer Institute clinical trials.
