Yuma Regional Medical Center names new CEO: 3 things to know

Yuma (Ariz.) Regional Medical Center has named Robert (Bob) J. Trenschel, DO, CEO.

Dr. Trenschel’s official start date at YRMC will be July 13.

Here are three things to know about Dr. Trenschel.

1. Dr. Trenschel currently serves as executive vice president of Houston-based Harris Health System.

2. Dr. Trenschel previously served as senior vice president of medical operations for Aurora Healthcare in Milwaukee, and as vice president of clinical operations and CMO for Florida Community Health Centers in West Palm Beach. Dr. Trenschel also served as a physician in a private practice from 1990-1993. 

3. Dr. Trenschel graduated from medical school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and earned a Masters of Public Health from Florida International University.
