Western North Carolina Community Health Services appoints Kim Wagenaar CEO: 3 notes

Asheville-based WNC Community Health Services named Kim Wagenaar CEO, according to Mountain Xpress.

Three notes:

1. Ms. Wagenaar most recently served as interim CEO at WNCCHS.

2. She has held numerous leadership positions at community health centers, including serving as CEO at Cabarrus/Rowan Community Health Center in Concord, N.C.

3. Ms. Wagenaar is a trained nurse practitioner.

“I am truly excited about being here at WNCCHS and I look forward to working alongside our staff and partners as we continue this journey,” said Ms. Wagenaar. “WNCCHS has a special place in the community.”
