A new 100-bed psychiatric hospital in Spokane, Wash., named Dorothy L. Sawyer CEO, according to a report by The Spokesman-Review.

1. The hospital is “a cooperative effort” of Kirkland, Wash.-based Fairfax Behavioral Health and Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health and Services.

2. Ms. Sawyer most recently served as CEO of Eastern State Hospital, a psychiatric hospital in Medical Lake, Wash.

3. She also served as a hospital executive in Arizona.
