USMD Hospital at Fort Worth appoints CEO, CNO

Kathy Early has been named CEO and CNO of USMD Hospital at Fort Worth (Texas) after serving in those roles in an interim capacity since June.

Prior to joining USMD Hospital at Fort Worth, Ms. Early served as vice president of patient services at USMD Hospital at Arlington, and has been with Irving, Texas-based USMD Health System since 2003. She has nearly 30 years of healthcare experience, ranging from front line nursing to senior leadership positions.

"Kathy is a highly seasoned healthcare executive who brings tremendous experience to this position," said Richard Johnston, MD, CEO and chief physician officer of USMD Health System. "Her background, skills and aptitude will serve her well in this role, and I look forward to her ongoing leadership and commitment to moving the hospital forward."
