Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health selected Beth P. Beckman, DNSc, to serve as its inaugural chief nursing executive.

1. Ms. Beckman most recently served as vice president and chief nursing officer of Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

2. She was previously COO and CNO of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Grapevine (Texas).

3. She holds a doctor of nursing science degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in Baltimore.
