United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, W.Va., announced the retirement of CEO Bruce Carter, according to a report by The State Journal.
Mr. Carter has served the hospital for more than 28 years. The hospital's board of directors will begin a nationwide search to find his replacement, according to the report.
