UHS fills new investor relations role

King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services has appointed Darren Lehrich vice president of investor relations, a newly established role reporting to CFO Steve Filton.

Mr. Lehrich brings years of corporate finance and healthcare experience to UHS, according to a Sept. 15 news release from the for-profit hospital operator. 

Most recently, he served as CFO of Help at Home, a Chicago-based company that provides in-home, community-based care to older adults and people with disabilities.

Mr. Lehrich also previously served as senior vice president of investor relations and finance at Help at Home. Before that, he led investor relations for Magellan Health and American Renal Associates Holdings, according to the release.

UHS operates 29 inpatient acute care hospitals, 331 inpatient behavioral health facilities, 60 outpatient and other facilities, an insurance offering, a physician network and various related services across 39 U.S. States, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom.
