UCI Health taps UNC Rex Healthcare exec as COO

Orange, Calif.-based UCI Health selected Chad T. Lefteris to serve as COO, effective Dec. 17.

Mr. Lefteris is currently vice president of operations of Raleigh, N.C.-based UNC Rex Healthcare. He also has experience serving as vice president of support services for UNC Rex Healthcare and administrative director of operations for Chapel Hill, N.C.-based UNC Medical Center.

Mr. Lefteris holds a master of health administration degree from Charleston-based Medical University of South Carolina.

UCI Health is the clinical enterprise of the University of California, Irvine, and it comprises the 417-bed, Orange, Calif.-based UCI Medical Center as well as primary and specialty care offices.
