Four things to know:
1. Dr. Lynch has a long history with Tulane Health System, having served as the organization’s interim CEO since October and Tulane Medical Center’s CEO from 2007 to 2014.
2. He will lead New Orleans-based Tulane Medical Center and Metairie, La.-based Tulane Lakeside Hospital, as well as help oversee Tulane’s Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, La.
3. He will also focus on Tulane hospitals’ partnership with the Tulane University School of Medicine.
4. Dr. Lynch replaces William Lunn, MD, who took a new position as CEO of Richmond, Va.-based Chippenham and Johnston-Willis hospitals.
