Houston-based Texas Children’s has named two new C-suite leaders: a chief human resources officer and a chief brand officer.

Kelly Jo Golson was appointed executive vice president and chief brand and external affairs officer, according to a March 27 LinkedIn post from the health system.

In the new role, Ms. Golson will oversee brand, marketing, communications, government affairs and philanthropy. She brings more than 30 years of experience and previously served as executive vice president and chief brand, communications and consumer officer at Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health for nearly 17 years.

Corey Jackson was named chief human resources officer. He most recently held the same role at UCSF in San Francisco, where he led human resources for UCSF Health and the university campus. His last day there was March 7, according to a Feb. 11 UCSF leadership update.

Texas Children’s is one of the nation’s largest pediatric and women’s health organizations, according to its website.
