Here are three things to know about Mr. Kastanis.
1. He first arrived at TUH in December 2011.
2. During his tenure, TUH’s financial performance has improved significantly, posting positive net margins from fiscal year 2012 to fiscal year 2015, according to a news release. Additionally, the institution has earned numerous national awards.
3. Over the next three months, Mr. Kastanis will work closely with TUH and Philadelphia-based Temple University Health System leadership to ensure a smooth transition and a process to identify his successor.
