Mike Milligan was named CFO of the Oklahoma and Mid-Missouri region of St. Louis-based SSM Health, according to a Sept. 16 news release shared with Becker’s.
Mr. Milligan succeeds Shasta Manuel, who is moving into a senior leadership position at SSM Health.
Mr. Milligan has more than 20 years of healthcare finance and public accounting experience, per the release. He most recently served as director of finance for Integris Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he oversaw finances for the system’s flagship hospital.
Mr. Milligan previously was CFO and vice president of financial reporting for Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health in Oklahoma City, and spent more than 12 years as CFO of Bethany (Okla.) Children’s Health Center. He began his career at KPMG as a senior audit associate.
SSM Health operates in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma and Wisconsin with more than 40,000 team members and more than 15,000 providers on its medical staff.
