Andrew Walker has been named inaugural executive vice president of finance for Birmingham, Ala.-based UAB Medicine, effective Oct. 26, according to a Sept. 16 LinkedIn post.
In his new role, Mr. Walker will lead UAB Medicine’s financial strategy, system integration and long-term capital planning.
Prior to his new role, Mr. Walker served as senior vice president of finance and treasury at York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health, according to his LinkedIn page.
He also served as WellSpan’s vice president of accounting and financial reporting.
