Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant names CEO: 3 things to know

Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant (S.C.) Hospital has named Anthony Jackson CEO, effective mid-January, according to a Charleston Regional Business Journal report.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Jackson.

1. Most recently, he was CEO of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Columbia (S.C.).

2. He was previously a radiology technician at Charleston, S.C.-based Roper Hospital during Hurricane Hugo, according to a hospital official.

3. Mr. Jackson earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central, S.C.-based Southern Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Findlay (Ohio).
