Steven Packer, MD. President and CEO of Community Hospital of the Monterey (Calif.). Peninsula. Dr. Packer was named president and CEO of Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula and the Community Hospital Foundation in January 1999. Before his appointment, Dr. Packer held other leadership roles at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, including chief of staff and medical director. He graduated from UCSF School of Medicine, where he completed training in internal medicine. Afterward, Dr. Packer completed a critical care fellowship at UC Irvine. Dr. Packer is a member of AOA Medical Honor Society and is a distinguished fellow of CSU Monterey Bay.
