L. Reuven Pasternak, MD. CEO of Stony Brook (N.Y.) University Hospital. Stony Brook University Hospital named Dr. Pasternak vice president for health systems and CEO of the hospital in September 2012. Previously, he served for four years as CEO of the Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Va., and executive vice president of academic affairs. He also spent time as executive vice president and CMO of the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati. Dr. Pasternak completed a residency in pediatrics and community medicine at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and a fellowship in pediatric clinical care at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, where he additionally completed a residency in anesthesiology.
