Stanley W. Ashley, MD. Senior Vice President for Clinical Affairs and CMO of Brigham and Women’s Hospital (Boston). Dr. Ashley joined Brigham and Women’s Hospital in 1997 and rose up the ranks to become CMO in June 2011. He is also the director and vice chair of the American Board of Surgery. Prior to his appointment at Brigham and Women’s, Dr. Ashley spent seven years as a faculty member at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in New York City.
