St. Vincent’s Medical Center taps new CEO: 5 things to know

St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, Conn., selected Dawn Rudolph to serve as president and CEO, effective March 23, according to a Stratford Star report.

Here are five things to know:

1. Ms. Rudolph serves as chief experience officer for Saint Thomas Health in Nashville, Tenn.

2. Her prior experience includes serving as CEO of St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.

3. She is a diplomat for the American College of Healthcare Executives.

4. In 2012, she served as the Nashville chapter chair of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women initiative.

5. Ms. Rudolph succeeds Vicki Briggs, who was recently appointed CEO of UT Health Tyler (Texas).
