St. Joseph Health names Dr. Jack Cox CMO

Irvine, Calif.-based St. Joseph Health has named Jack L. Cox, MD, senior vice president and CMO, according to a Bloomberg Business report.

Dr. Cox, a certified family physician, currently serves as senior vice president and chief quality officer for Newport Beach, Calif.-based Hoag, St. Joseph’s affiliated partner, a role he has held since 2006.

In his new role, Dr. Cox will focus on helping St. Joseph work more closely with its physician leaders, create a shared, system-wide roadmap for clinical excellence and expertise in population health and guide the evolution of care delivery systems to ensure excellence in care and the patient experience, according to the report.
