St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Ga., promoted Gwen Johnson to senior administrative director of revenue cycle.
Here are four things to know about Ms. Johnson.
1. She has more than three decades of healthcare experience.
2. For the past five years, she has worked for St. Francis, according to the hospital's CFO, John Milazzo.
3. Mr. Milazzo said in a news release Ms. Johnson's role will now include oversight of health information management and clinical documentation improvement, along with patient financial services and patient access cervices.
4. Ms. Johnson is a graduate of The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tenn., where she earned a master's degree in health informatics and information management.
