1. Mr. Laird most recently served as CEO of Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kan.

2. He also served as COO of Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Houston and COO of West Houston Medical Center.

3. He began his healthcare career at St. David’s HealthCare in Austin as an administrative resident.

4. Mr. Laird holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Trinity University in San Antonio.

5. He succeeds Todd Steward, who now servesas CEO of St. David’s Medical Center in Austin.
