Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center selects Susan Williams as CNO

Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center in Emporia, Va., named Susan Williams chief nursing officer.

Ms. Williams most recently served as administrative director of nursing at The Villages (Fla.) Regional Hospital, according to an April 12 announcement. She began her healthcare career at Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt University Medical Center and has worked at Florida facilities in Tampa, Orlando and Miami.

In addition to her nursing degree, Ms. Williams holds an MBA in healthcare management from the University of Phoenix.
