Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center taps 1st female CEO: 4 notes

Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas appointed Alexis Mussi its first female CEO, effective May 16.

Four notes:

1. Ms. Mussi has served as COO of Southern Hills Hospital since December 2015.

2. She joined Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, Southern Hills Hospital’s parent, in 2008.

3. She has served in several leadership roles at HCA, including as vice president of operations at MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas.

4. Ms. Mussi is also a board member on the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
