Here are four things to know about Mr. Alex.
1. He has almost two decades of commercial medical device experience with companies including Japan-based Olympus Corp. and Natick, Mass.-based Boston Scientific Corp., as well as with emerging companies, and a career-long focus on gastroenterology, pulmonary and surgical endoscopic products.
2. Most recently, he was national sales director at Olympus where he led two product launches and managed product life cycle sales efforts, officials said.
3. In his new role, Mr. Alex will oversee all aspects of direct and distributed sales of Skyline Medical’s STREAMWAY System.
4. Mr. Alex earned a master’s degree in business administration from Marquette University in Milwaukee and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
