Shane Knisley named president of Clermont Hospital

Mercy Health-Cincinnati has tapped Shane Knisley to serve as the president of Clermont Hospital in Batavia, Ohio, effective Oct. 28.

Mr. Knisley previously served as COO of Fairfield (Ohio) Hospital, also part of Mercy Health-Cincinnati. He also was interim leader of the hospital after former President and CEO Tom Urban’s departure in March.

He was COO of Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark., and assistant CEO of Lake Granbury Medical Center in Granbury, Texas.

He holds a master of health administration degree from Army-Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

Mr. Knisley succeeds Justin Krueger, who is leaving to become president of Fairfield Hospital.
