Sentara Potomac Hospital Names Megan Perry as New President

Long-time Sentara Healthcare executive Megan Perry has been promoted to Sentara corporate vice president of Northern Virginia and president of Sentara Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge, Va., according to a report by the News & Messenger.

Ms. Perry started at Sentara in 1990 as an administrative resident at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and moved up through the company in various roles, including vice president of ambulatory services and women’s health and administrator for Sentara Hampton General. She most recently worked as senior vice president for business and service line development.

Ms. Perry’s appointment follows Potomac Hospital’s December merger with Sentara Healthcare in Norfolk, Va. Sentara operates more than 100 sites in Virginia and North Carolina.

Ms. Perry replaces former president William H. Flannagan, who retired after 30 years with Potomac.
