1. Ms. Ferrer served as COO of Seaside, a part of Long Beach, Calif.-based MemorialCare, before her promotion. She replaces retired CEO Wendy Dorchester, PhD.
2. Ms. Ferrer has more than two decades of managed care experience.
3. “[Ms.] Ferrer will be an asset to help us grow membership in the commercial, Medi-Cal and Medicare Advantage markets,” MemorialCare President and CEO Barry Arbuckle, PhD, said, according to The Grunion.
