Ms. Briggs comes to Samaritan Medical Center from St. Lawrence Health System in Potsdam, N.Y., where she became health system controller in September 2018. Before that she was hospital controller for Canton-Potsdam Hospital in Potsdam for a decade.
She has 13 years of healthcare experience and 24 years of accounting experience.
Ms. Briggs assumed the CFO role at Samaritan Medical Center Aug. 5, succeeding Paul A. Kraeger, who ended a 38-year career at the hospital.
