Rodney Hochman, MD. President and CEO of Providence St. Joseph Health (Renton, Wash.). With a background in rheumatology and internal medicine, Dr. Hochman served as president and CEO of Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services until it merged with Irvine, Calif.-based St. Joseph Health this year, making him the president and CEO of the new health system. He previously served as president and CEO of Seattle-based Swedish Health Services, which affiliated with Providence four years ago. Before joining Swedish, Dr. Hochman held various positions at Norfolk, Va.-based Sentara Healthcare, including executive vice president, CMO and senior vice president.
